Scholar Spotlight: Khloe Harmon

We’re proud to shine the Jr. LINK Scholar Spotlight on Khloe Harmon, a Class of 2026 recent graduate of Chicago Health Academy, who is preparing to begin her next chapter at Hobart and William Smith Colleges this fall.

Reflecting on her journey, Khloe describes a powerful transformation from a soft-spoken middle school student to a confident leader in high school. Where she once preferred to stay in the background, she now actively uses her voice, shares her ideas, and steps into leadership roles with confidence.
Khloe credits LINK with playing a major role in that growth. Through opportunities like mentoring freshmen during their transition into high school, she developed leadership skills and learned the importance of showing up for others. These experiences helped shape her into the person she is today.
Her transition from Jr. LINK to LINK Scholar was smooth, providing her with the support and structure she needed to navigate high school successfully.
When asked what advice she would give to current Jr. LINK Scholars, Khloe encouraged them to step forward: “Let your voice be heard. Let your face be seen. Become the face of something; don’t stay in the background.”
As she looks ahead, Khloe is excited for new experiences, expanding her network, and continuing to learn as she explores the world beyond high school.
Congratulations, Khloe! We are so proud of you!
