Decision Day Recap

On May 1 — National College Decision Day — we celebrated the LINK Class of 2026 as they took the next step in their journey: committing to the colleges and universities where they’ll continue to grow, learn, and pursue their dreams.
This milestone reflects years of hard work, resilience, and the unwavering support of families, Mentors, and the LINK community. The numbers speak for themselves, but the impact goes far beyond them. This is what it looks like to support students to, through, and beyond college.
The results for the Class of 2026 are still coming in, but thus far we’re thrilled to announce:
* Nearly 400 college acceptances — an average of more than 8 per Scholar
* 100% committed to a college or university
* Over $20 MILLION in scholarships and grants awarded over four years
Our Scholars are heading to incredible institutions across the country, including:
- Ivy League universities like Cornell University
- Selective liberal arts colleges such as Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Middlebury College, Oberlin College, and Reed College
- Selective HBCUs like Dillard University, Hampton University, Howard University, Spelman College, and Xavier University of Louisiana
- Flagship universities including University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and University of Wisconsin-Madison
The LINK Class of 2026 didn’t navigate their college decision journey alone. They were supported in every step by a community of LINK College Specialists, Mentors, cheerleaders, and advocates.
We are incredibly proud of our Scholars and all they’ve accomplished to reach this moment. The future is bright — and this is only the beginning!
