We’re excited about our upcoming in-person Mentor-Sponsor Kick-Off & Preparation Sessions! These sessions—offered on two different dates for your convenience—are mandatory for any Mentor who will be working with a rising senior Scholar during the upcoming school year. (Mentors only need to participate in one of the two sessions.) Your session will provide you with all the tools and resources you need to successfully support your LINK Scholar during their senior year and in their college application process.

This special event is your first opportunity to meet your Scholar face to face, kick off your journey together, and begin building a powerful connection that will shape their path forward. Join us at the LINK office for an energizing evening of introductions, inspiration, and community—plus great food and meaningful moments you won’t want to miss!

Introducing LINK’s Reimagined College & Career Mentor-Sponsor Model!
We’re excited to relaunch a signature LINK tradition with a fresh, future-focused twist: our College & Career Mentor-Sponsor Model. Back, and better than ever, this reimagined model pairs each senior LINK Scholar with a dedicated Mentor who shares their college and career interests and serves as a Sponsor, directly supporting their journey to and through the college admissions process.
This year’s launch includes the development of a structured college counseling curriculum that integrates both Mentors and parents in meaningful ways through joint counseling sessions, follow-up tasks, and intentional collaboration to help Scholars stay on track and make informed decisions.
As we build out this new phase, we’re also in need of and recruiting 23 committed Mentor-Sponsors to walk alongside our senior Scholars during this pivotal year. Together, we’re bringing back a model that shaped LINK’s past and redefining it to shape our Scholars’ futures.
