Thanks for Your Mask and Mingle Support!
After a year of completely virtual programming, we feel hopeful about being able to bring our Scholars together again! We kicked it off with two Mask and Mingle events to foster and rebuild connections with the two classes that began their fellowship journey during the pandemic.
On July 30, the Class of 2024 connected with their peers in-person for the first time ever! They completed their first year as Scholars virtually. Many of them also had their first in-person visit with their Mentors. And on July 31, the Class of 2025 met for the first time. This is a special group of 100 freshmen—our largest ever incoming class! These new high schoolers were able to meet new friends who will share their fellowship journey.
Both of these events were supported by the Target Lincoln Park North store and the LINK community. A wide variety of board games and activities were purchased to help the students build friendships and foster friendly interaction after a very long year of isolation. Thank you for these gifts!
