Summer Learning with LINK
We started our LINK Summer Learning this week, and we’re so excited about what the summer holds!
Summer Learning is a crucial component of LINK programming designed to combat learning loss over the summer months—as well as serving as an academic accelerator, preparing Scholars for the school year ahead.
Scholars are taking grade-level-based math and ELA, electives, and/or ACT/SAT test prep courses over a six-week time period (four weeks for Jr. LINK). Scholars will also have several opportunities to connect with their peers and LINK staff through team- and community-building exercises.
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays will be dedicated to academic enrichment. On Thursdays, Scholars will be attending LINK-chaperoned field experiences throughout the summer.

As a review, here are the dates for Summer Learning:
- Jr. LINK (4 weeks): Mondays through Thursdays, June 24 – July 18*
- HS Fellowship (6 weeks): Mondays through Thursdays, June 24 – Aug 1*
*No sessions on Thursday, July 4, or Thursday, July 25
Let’s make it a fun and productive summer together!
