New Staff

We’re delighted to welcome Mia Sedory to the LINK team as Coordinator, Advancement & External Affairs. Mia is a recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago, with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in education policy. She is passionate about education equity and education research, having carried that passion with her throughout both her academic and professional journey.
From community organizing in high school, to studying education policy in college, to working on research projects centered on youth voices, Mia has consistently found purpose and fulfillment in education equity work. Over the past year, she worked at Sullivan High School, supporting students with their college applications.
“As I have celebrated students’ college decisions with them, I’ve been reminded of how critical accessibility in education is,” Mia said. “Seeing how much college means to each of my students has strengthened my commitment to this work and made me even more excited about joining LINK Unlimited Scholars. I am eager to bring my energy, dedication, and passion, and I look forward to contributing to the team.”
Welcome, Mia! We’re excited about the impact you’re going to make in the lives of our Scholars!
