Mentor Spotlight: Bianca Conner

This month we’re proud to shine the Mentor Spotlight on Bianca Conner, who serves as Mentor to Ocean Lott, Class of 2027. Bianca began her mentorship journey in September 2024 after LINK was recommended to her as a stellar volunteer opportunity. She got involved because she wanted to pour back into kids who look like her.
Bianca is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), working to identify and diagnose psychiatric disorders as well as providing psychotherapy and medication management for patients. She worked as a registered nurse for five years prior to obtaining her current role.
Bianca has worked at the biggest level 1 trauma hospital on Chicago’s South Side, and she worked as a travel nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic. Driven by her passion for mental health, she excelled as an intern at a hospital on the South Side of Chicago, mastering psychotherapy techniques and showcasing exceptional teamwork. Her proactive approach led to improved patient outcomes through individualized treatment plans and effective medication management, underscoring her commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Thank you, Bianca, for putting your dedication to work for LINK Unlimited Scholars by serving as a Mentor. We appreciate you and the impact you’re making!
