Our two-year fellowship prepares middle-school students for success.
Jr. LINK is the beginning of our 6-year fellowship and provides middle school students academic and college prep enrichment along with assistance with high school placement. Students who successfully complete our Jr. LINK programming are automatically eligible to interview for acceptance into our high school fellowship.

For middle-school students in Chicago, it’s never too early to think about the future. And for students who have been historically underrepresented in higher education, especially Black students, being college ready isn’t easy. LINK Unlimited Scholars changes that.
Through our 6-year Fellowship, which begins in middle school, Jr. LINK Scholars find the resources and support they need to be college ready.

Our two-year fellowship prepares 7th and 8th grade students for success
LINK Unlimited Scholars offers a two-year fellowship for middle-school students that assists with high school placement and college prep. Students who complete the Jr. LINK program in good standing are eligible to interview for placement as a LINK Scholar in our four-year fellowship.
Academic Enrichment
Summer Learning Institute is a four-week program preparing students for academic success in their 7th and 8th grade courses and testing by focusing on reading, math, and writing skills.
Leadership Development
Students attend four Saturday Academy sessions to enhance their leadership skills and provide SEL exposure through group discussions, panel presentations, and admission specialists.
High School Options
LINK Unlimited hosts an invitation-only high school fair for all fellowship participants.
College Exposure
LINK Unlimited hosts one-day college tours across the city for students and parents to increase understanding of college expectations and requirements.
