LINK Newsletter, Mentors

Special thanks to Mentors Nadine Moulta Ali and Kamilah White, who took their Scholars on campus visits this spring!

    • Nadine flew all the way to Portland, Oregon, with her Scholar, Ari Jones, to visit Reed College.
“Taking Ari to visit Reed was an incredibly meaningful experience,”
Nadine said. “It was more than just a campus tour; it was an opportunity to expand horizons, visualize the future, and bridge the gap between aspirations and reality. Witnessing Ari step into that space and engage with the possibilities of what’s ahead was deeply impactful for me as a Mentor, and it truly reinforced the power of showing up for our Scholars’ journeys.”
    • Kamilah visited Knox College and Augustana College (both in Illinois) with her Scholar, Tamron Scott.

Nadine and Kamilah’s commitment to mentoring and encouraging their Scholars went a long way in helping Ari and Tamron choose their best-fit colleges.

Thank you, Nadine and Kamilah, for investing in our Scholars and making a difference in their futures!
