Important Reminder: Our new student application (for the 2026-27 academic year) is open now and will remain open until Sunday, January 11, 2026!*
Who Can Apply:
- Current 6th, 7th, or 8th graders (High School Classes of 2030, 2031 & 2032)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and 90%+ school attendance
- Demonstrated leadership, service, curiosity, and interest in being mentored
- Financial need (per HUD’s Low-Income Guidelines for Cook County)
*Note: All applicants are required to attend a Virtual Information Session.
Applicants must also align with LINK’s mission: a personal or familial connection to Black identity or Black communities, lived experience of inequity, and a commitment to service and leadership.
