We’re thrilled to announce that applications for new LINK Scholars will reopen on Friday, October 3, 2025! We support talented, ambitious, and highly motivated students with academic enrichment, leadership development, college access, mentoring, and scholarships—empowering them to thrive to, through, and beyond college.

Who Can Apply:

  • Rising 6th, 7th, or 8th graders (High School Classes of 2030, 2031 & 2032)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and 90%+ school attendance
  • Demonstrated leadership, service, curiosity, and interest in being mentored
  • Financial need (per HUD’s Low-Income Guidelines for Cook County)

Applicants must also align with LINK’s mission: a personal or familial connection to Black identity or Black communities, lived experience of inequity, or commitment to service and leadership.

Mark your calendar and spread the word with students, parents, teachers, and community partners so future Scholars know about the opportunity.
