Jr. LINK Scholar Spotlight
We’re delighted to shine the Jr. LINK spotlight on Lanre Deen, who has just completed 8th grade at Noonan Elementary School. He has consistently shown leadership and academic success during his time as a Jr. LINK Scholar. He is also a LINK Ambassador, and he will be attending Marist High School in the fall, where he intends to continue his passion for basketball and horseback riding while maintaining his academic success.
When asked what he looks forward to in the upcoming school year, Lanre expressed his excitement about attending Marist and having a fresh start to “be friendly and set up good relationships with his new teachers and classmates.” He is also eager to be connected with a LINK Mentor.
