Special congratulations to the inaugural Jr. LINK cohort on their recent high school graduation! Six years ago, Jayla Allen, Talia Cole, Christian Gates, Khloe Harmon, Ari Jones, Jai’Den Locke, Chace Martin, and Chiya Stonewall began their journey as Jr. LINK Scholars. Now they’ve each completed the LINK HS fellowship as well and have graduated from their respective high schools—and they’re all heading to their best-fit colleges in the fall!
- Jayla Allen – Committed to University of Wisconsin-Madison (Posse Scholar)
- Talia Cole – Committed to Columbia College Chicago
- Christian Gates – Committed to Illinois State University
- Khloe Harmon – Committed to Hobart and William Smith Colleges
- Ari Jones – Committed to Reed College (Renaissance Scholar)
- Jai’Den Locke – Committed to Illinois State University

This amazing group of Scholars has demonstrated a strong commitment to LINK programming, including with their LINK Mentors, and remained in good standing throughout their 6-year fellowship. Among them, they had 75+ total college acceptances to a mix of selective, private, and public institutions. They also received significant scholarship awards: $4.1M+ in total scholarship offers over four years! The group includes two Posse Scholars, a Renaissance Scholar, a Gates Finalist, and a finalist for institutional full-tuition program at their committed school.
These eight Scholars were honored at the April Saturday Academy and at the recent Scholar Celebration in recognition of their last six years of accomplishments.
