Welcoming New Board Member Kimberly A. Cook

We’re thrilled to welcome Kimberly A. Cook, a distinguished mediator and attorney at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck, LLP, to the LINK Unlimited Scholars Board of Directors! With her passion for equity and belief in the transformative power of education, she brings invaluable insight and leadership to our mission.
“Quality education can shape not just the future of a child, but the stability and strength of an entire family,” Kimberly said. “I am honored to join the board of LINK and excited to contribute to advancing educational equity for students who have been historically underrepresented. Education opens doors, strengthens communities, and creates opportunities across generations and I am proud to be part of this important work.”

Kimberly’s dedication to mentoring the next generation of lawyers is evident in her active role as an adjunct law professor, mentor, speaker, and podcast host. In her work as an attorney and mediator, she is known as a problem-solver and strategic negotiator. Her compassion is evident as she advocates for all families, regardless of race, nationality, sexuality, or gender identity. Unwaveringly, she believes that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with respect.
With a B.A. in English from Spelman College and a J.D. from the Catholic University of America–Columbus School of Law, Kimberly is a member of the Black Women Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Economic Club of Chicago, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Welcome to LINK Unlimited Scholars, Kimberly! We’re excited about the impact you’ll have in expanding our mission of helping our Scholars to, through, and beyond college!
