Dr. Gunn Spreads the Word about LINK
Dr. Gunn always enjoys the opportunity to get in front of Chicago businesses to share her personal story as well as the story of LINK Unlimited Scholars and its impact in getting Chicago youth to, through, and beyond college.
In February, she enjoyed a virtual visit with Sikich, a global professional services company and Top 30 CPA firm (Accounting Today Top 100 list), speaking to their team members during Black History Month. The presentation provided a platform for Sikich team members to learn from Dr. Gunn about successful Black executives navigating challenges and how leadership can shape the future.
In her presentation, Dr. Gunn shared about the journey of Black leaders in overcoming racial barriers. Supporting the group’s theme of Rising Above: Black Leadership and the Pursuit of Change, she emphasized social justice by highlighting modern-day examples of leadership driving systemic change.
