Student Information

LINK currently has 264 students in its four-year program. LINK accepts up to 80 new students each year, who apply as incoming freshman.  Candidates must be academically motivated and exhibit a drive to succeed. From there, LINK can help them go anywhere!

All LINK students are economically disadvantaged. More than 80 percent are from single-parent households headed by women. Without LINK Unlimited, many students would have no choice but to attend public schools which may not offer college preparatory classes or opportunities for a safe, supportive environment in which to excel.

Applicants for the program are interviewed each spring. More than 300 qualifying students apply to the program each year. Each year LINK will accept approximately 80 new students. Admission is based on academic grades, standardized test scores, economic need, and level of motivation.
